TMI Group

The seeds for the story of TMI Group were laid by T Muralidharan, a Chemical Engineer from IIT(M) and a 1981 alumnus of IIM(A) – a first generation entrepreneur. TMI Group continues to be perhaps the only HR Consulting Organization that remains Indian-promoted and Indian-managed.

TMI Network was established at Hyderabad in 1991 (as the first Company of TMI Group) with an initial investment of Rs 50,000 to focus on “recruitment”. Over the years, TMI Network expanded its portfolio of offerings, to provide diverse solutions to the ever increasing number of customers, large and widely distributed prospective candidates. TMI Network now operates out of 8 offices in India.

Today TMI Network offers almost the entire range of Talent Acquisition solutions to its clients; we are sector-agnostic and approach each engagement from an HR-Consulting perspective. Our clients span IT and non-IT businesses; we service them through temp staffing and permanent hiring solutions; different teams work for hiring for entry level to a very wide range of customers (in Agri, BFSI and other domains); and, TMI’s high-end retained Executive Search Firm drives the Search practice from Hyderabad, Mumbai and Chennai, managed by executive search consultants with large industry experience; we have an RPO(recruitment process outsourcing) practice; we have provided “turnkey” solutions to very large and discerning clients hiring for various positions at one (generally, a remote) location.

Employer Branding Initiatives for Talent Acquisition (EBITA) was a practice that started in 1993 with recruitment advertisement – where TMI grew to be one of the largest in India. Today, this practice got morphed into TMI Summer Rain, an in-house advertising company catering to employer branding, digital marketing and associated services.

TMI Network is rated among top 5 management recruiters in India. Our vast candidate connects and client relationships serves as the largest search platform for senior management recruitment; so much so,nearly 60% of our revenues come from repeat business from satisfied customers – who enlist our services for their senior management recruitment. We believe we know the Indian talent quite well; over the years, we have honed our (sourcing, fit assessment, engagement and other) processes and have been able to offer world-class processes and comfort to clients at mid-range prices.
